My bets are most likely not, but I could be wrong. I think it's just a show car and just for looks. SEMA tends to be the weird and the wonderful...

Also, I don't think people would recognize that it's a cop car cause it would be out of the norm. Both good and bad that is...

I wouldnt doubt if they used it for traffic/speeding tickets....kinda like they use the Camaros for......def. not for hauling around Perps. though.

Wow, i live rite nex to monterey park. Wonder where they keep that car. BTW, cops here in Monterey Park are **** about modded cars, but it would be nice to know that one of their officers is the owner of that puppy.

Don't they have to "lead by example" though? I don't think having modded police cars to "racing specs" suits the purpose of keeping the peace...

I was near MP a while ago and I saw a fixed up hyundai tiburon V6 GT cop car. However, it wasn't black and white, it was like a red or orange. Stickers all over, w/ anti-racing slogans. I think it was cruisin' to find those street ricers!
