Talking Woohoo I'm Tuned... (341 whp / 326 wtq)

Finally got my car tuned...

2004 STi

APS S/R 50
Invidia Titanium Catback Exhaust
Helix Catless Downpipe
STi Modified Injectors
Perrin Big MAF
APS D/R 725 FMIC
XX Tuning GT-Spec Header and Uppipe
Apex'i AVC-R Boost Controller
ECUTek

341 WHP
326 WTQ

Dyno shows lower number for HP because at higher RPMs the dyno has trouble with the pickup, but it showed 341 after the run.

Jarrad from Portland did the tuning on 91 Octane California ****, i mean Gas and 18.3 PSI. We ran out of Dyno time so we couldn't take it higher than that, but he felt he could have gone to 350 pretty easily. Once I get a second car I'll push this one farther, but for now i'm THRILLED with the results.

Very nice results
Was the only engine management the AVC-R?

Maybe I should put the XX Tuning headers back on.

Cheers

Nick

PS: small higjack anyone wants a set of XX-tuning headers? I have one for sale at the N Cal classifieds

Sweet numbers! Let us know when you run it. What are you guessing you'll run 1/4mile?

with race gas, I'd have to think that i would be extremely low 12s or possibly high 11s. We'll have to see once I get a chance to get it out there...

but my tune is on 91, so i really won't be able to put down that number without the ECUTek Tuner so that i can switch maps and have a tune on race gas...

Do you like the boost response with the AVC-R better than with just the ECUTEK controlling the stock solenoid?

I do like the response, according to the many tuners I talked to, the main reason for the AVC-R was that the effieciency of the stock solenoid is lack luster and the AVC-R is very efficient as it has its own solenoid.

18.3 PSI. we ran out of time to continue moving that number up closer to 21 and mainting the a/f, hp and tq curves the way he wanted them, so next time he comes down we will boost it up...

Nice numbers, it seems that the 2.5 might be my next mod.

341hp on ATPs dyno should be good for low 12's.....with some race gas u should be in the high 11's....it would be nice to see what that Sr50 could do.

Good stuff

Mark
