wouldnt that wrx police be in ca? and whats in the subaru thing in the backround?

Yes, Monterey Park is in the San Gabriel Valley where the Import scene was born.

There have been a number of dealers and tuners that donate cars to local and state police depts. IIRC the police won't make them an interceptor though unless it can meet the acceleration and handling requirments.

This is the reason there are no Volvo police interceptors.

actually the white sticker on the side of the rear bumper said no tax dollars were used for this vehicle

well they definately drive that beast..look at the exhaust. Definately not street legal.haa.

wonder what they use it for..either way...nice to be the cop assigned to take it to shows and whatever else they use it for.

Back in the day i got a ride in one of th 5.0's the CHP were using out on highway 1...holy crap.
