It may have more protection but that gets the hackers more excited. Someone went to the trouble of making a pretty cool hack application where you drag the installed apps onto the utility and it cracks em for ya. It's just a super big hog though. The biggest version installs like 5 GB of crap. Stick with CS2.

i thought illustrator CS3 by it self was only like 600megs? Maybe I'm thinking of another iso then...

By itself, it may be. That is still ridiculous. An Adobe employee should be able to buy it for $50.
