Buy a $5000 impreza to start, or have your parents buy you a cheap Impreza.
Then, when you start making money, do an engine swap and make all the new-age folks drool at your light weight GDA eater

My advice. Don't expect to have the things you wan't right away. You have to work for them. Don't charge up credit cards when you turn 18 (I'm 25 and still paying off college debt). And don't spend all your money that you get working on games and movies and muzak and stuff like that. When I was younger I wondered why I was so freakin poor all the time, then I look over at my nice videogame, cd and DVD collection.....no wonder. Also, one more thing, girls are freakin expensive to keep around. And the longer they're around, the more expensive they become.
what PacificMartin saying is... one night stand is cheaper!

Well, saving up for a car is a lot of self-discpline. If you have a job, I say, start a savings account, and start putting money into it. Leave yourself some money to spend, but not a lot. Basically, create a budget. Figure out how much you need for the necessary things in life (like food, gas, bills...if you have any), then how much you normally spend on other things that are considered entertainment, and then put the rest into your savings. Don't touch the savings. And let it build up.
Before you buy a car, make sure you do a lot of research first. Make sure you can afford the monthly payment for the car AND the insurance and still have enough for a comfortable living. I don't know about you, but I didn't like depending on my parents for everything.
Well, thats just my .01 (its not even worth the normal .02
), if you're really interested, email me and I'll try to help you. Just telling you what I did to get my car.
