Rip.. Feel for him, his family and friends. I grew up in a major alcoholic family. My father was a huge alcoholic. My father would easy put away a bottle of alcohol and a case to 2 cases a beer a NIGHT No one could ever get him to stop. If you tried he became very abusive :/
Its why i dont always drink and i know when to stop. When i go out with friends i may or may not even drink and if i do its 2 drinks tops. But since my accident from a drunk driver i wont drink that much at all these days maybe once a month and if that its one drink.

As weird as it sounds I think the worst things is easily influenced kids who have not drank before college. This way when they get to college they are so overwhelmed, want to fit in, and everyone is like DRINK DRINK DRINK and when kids have not drank hard alcohol before, they always think they can handle more than they really can. Especially cause hard alcohol takes a while to kick in so you take in more and more shots thinking you can handle it.

Because of what I said above I have seen many freshman in college as well as other people their first time drinking get very sick and near death.

This is how I was the first time I drank vodka and since I didn't know it was a creeper, I drank way too much and got alcohol poisoning.

That was the first time I drank and I now know my limits. Whenever I get "drunk" whether it is at my apartment or at a bar I always know how much to drink etc etc and have never gotten sick like I have that time and never will again.

Plus when your young its about how much you can drink so you can show off and yea, bad stuff like what happened to this kid tends to be the outcome.
