I got my Exedy Clutch and Flywheel installed at Subaru Santa Cruz almost 8 weeks ago. It rattles, makes clicking noises whenever the clutch is up. It makes me feel like sitting in a diesel taxi back in the 80s.

I have spoken with Bruce (who's cool of course) but their technician couldn't be bothered to pull the stuff out to take a peek. The car was handed back to me, citing that it should be ok. But I just hate the click click click click... no doubt none of us here would want that.

I felt like shouting and demanding a proper inspection but then it's our beloved Suby Santa Cruz! ... should I go for it?

Well, it's like Subaru Santa Cruz's been so cool all along (I bought my car from them Mar 2001) Initially I just took their for it that the car is ok and the noise is really minor. But now I'm indeed not happy. Just that I can't decide whether it's me being too fussy about little noise ... but we're all like that right? It's our own car...

 

I can't take it anymore, Whats the secret?
