no hassle safety check?

So, does anyone know where I can get a safety check without someone being retarded and telling me I need recon because I have an aftermarket shift **** or some BS like that? I need one today or tomorrow to avoid an on base ticket and I dont want to waste my time with someone who will try to tell me everything is wrong so I will pay the to fix it.

your military right? Try {PM me}. they're pretty lax with safety inspections.

Did you already try the hobby shop on KBay? I know there are a few suby enthusiasts there.

If the car is lowered less than 2in no recon is required. I an not lowered anywhere near 2 in. the high beams are not a safety issue although I won't argue that its illegal.

I thought it was any suspension mods. I have mine lifted 3-4in over stock and the alignment is more out whack than when it was lowered on coils.

LMFAO. Why come on here and ask questions if you know so much about the laws and what makes a car illegal? You seem like you know it all, so go to any shop and try school them when you fail. See what they say.

no idea who told you that. but nope any height adjustment at all http://hawaii.gov/dot/highways/admin...024%201986.pdf (skip to page 8 for suspension rules) the 2" either direction used to be rim size. they have since changed it to no recon required for rims

yeah dude you definitely need your high beams to pass as it is one of the check blocks on the safety. just buy or plug in your stock headlights. And i know that the rules about suspension are pretty obvious but i know of plenty of people that are pretty damn low and still passed their safety at {Expletive Delete}. of course this means your taking the risk of getting pulled over with no recon and we all now how bad that is.

lol whoops yeah just pm me

no such thing as hassle free safety check unless you are A. within tolerance or B. paying them to turn the other way............

you want a hassle free safety check, don't mod your car. sounds simple enough to me. gotta pay to play!
