Yeah I got a good view of it. I was sitting in the grand stands at start/finish. I knew something was going down when Tagliani (sp?) walked the wrong way down pit lane headed in Tracy's direction. It was a great race and a lot of fun to watch in person.

I was up against the fence at turn 4/5, you can't get any closer really. lol. I could put my hand out, and have it ripped off, i was that close.

Yeah, they aren't cornering machines, but trust me, to be only 10 seconds off the times of much faster cars, they were fast in and of themselves.

Here's the deal: I hate nascar, cascar, and pretty much all those crappy series, but I don't hate stock cars. These guys aren't nascar people, they just have some old, not used anymore stock cars, and they race em for 30min stints as support races.

When I see the words "historic" or "vintage" it means stuff they don't want to bust up. I saw a dude in the showroom diaper rubbing his historic stock car.

With the touring series, they are rat races not afraid to trade paint. THAT's entertaining. I miss the touring cars.

The old NASCAR fogeys see an RX7 drifter and a B swapped civic and think it's the same thing "*** car". =(
