I just pulled up the info on the race finally. I kept forgetting. I found out that it will be on July 29-31... I'm out of town that weekend boohoo hoo. Anyone going to attend this>? Tickets are $45 or free if you catch it on the boob tube. Which is not the same...

thats what I was wondering....after all, it IS in downtown SJ......I doubt they will be shutting down the whole city (around the track) for this event, but then again, we ARE in CA....and they do some pretty stupid isht sometimes.

I'm sure that you'll be able to catch a glimpse of it for free. Maybe go to the higher floors of a nearby hotel... Time to make good connections with a nearby business

hah ill be watching it for free, since i work in downtown san jose. i work over at the marriott and i plan on going up to ther roof and watching it from there.
