The San Jose Grand Prix will be one of California's largest and most anticipated sporting events. 2005 will be the inaugural Champ Car event roaring through the streets of San Jose.

Race fans will cheer American Drivers Jimmy Vasser, AJ Allmendinger, along with Mexican Rodolfo Lavin and series champions Sebastien Bourdais and Paul Tracy, when they compete at over 200mph on the streets of San Jose.

The San Jose Grand Prix event will represent so much more than a race. It will be a week long non-stop festival both on and off the track. Onsite beach volleyball, checkered flag festival area with music, interactive games, music, driver autograph sessions. Off track events including a street festivals and Canary Fund charity events.

I am going for the whole thing. I am hoping it turns out to be reocurring event here in San Jose.
