Being a normal person (as all of us here), you wouldn't want your food to taste like crap or handled in such a way. The girl obviously have poor customer service and couldn't careless if a person would enjoy the food or not simply by ignoring the mistake that could've been fixed easily.

I can't blame the cop and I can see a lawsuit happening if this incident happened to just about ANY person that would come in a fast-food restaurant.

Dude like the employee said... if it tasted bad he should have taken one bite not eaten the whole thing.. and where is the law that says "no extra salt" to give him right to take such action?

thats retarded. and that cop deserves to be put on suspension for miss using his power.. he had no right to arrest her over a salty burger. he is the idiot who decided to finish eating it despite the saltiness of it... he could have easily returned it and said this is way too salty...

Notice the article didn't mention other customers coming in and trying to place citizens arrest... thats because they have brains. this cop in this situation clearly didn't.

I end with.. you're an idiot.

how much of our tax dollars went to testing the burger.

1. if you eat at Mcdonalds, dont complain about unhealthy food.
2. if you eat the whole thing, its your fault at that point
3. she works at Mcdonalds, she doesnt make good money, way to make it hard for her to get a better job
4. I hate stupid people

Thats how businesses are guys.

I worked at round table pizza back when I was like 15 1/2... One day I was opening a can of pineapple cubes (big can) and the lid sliced pretty deep and I was bleeding pretty bad. Some of my blood got into the pineapple can, and my boss at the time was like "Just pick out the pieces with blood on them and use it". I was like  , and "accidentally" spilled the can over where it spilled on the floor. I wasn't about to feed people my blood! I quit there shortly after.

The point is, they are there to make money, they will cut most corners to save a penny, that's just how it works! Throwing those beef patties away would have been a sin in the eyes of the manager! It's just salt, not like someone came all over them with semen or something. REGARDLESS of the girls conduct of serving the burger, she should NOT have been arrested for this! Simple as that!

Whoever is siding with the cop, you're a sick person who should never EVER become a cop.

agreed, bad food sucks, but unless they can prove motive there was not a crime commited. she just sucked at making a burger. I bet he didnt mind the fries he ate that are coated in salt.

Oh yeah, I agree with on that!

IMO, the girl kinda brought that to herself. It was a simple mistake that brought her much bigger consequences.

I see both sides lacked common sense, it's unfortunate.

Is no one else seeing that her supervisor didn't care about the extra salt? If a higher-up says it's fine, then yes, she had to serve the meat and it's not her fault. Would you argue with a supervisor which could easily make you lose your job (since McD's can easily find a replacement) over a stupid piece of meat?

I bet other people got the salty meat, but only the cop complained or was stupid enough to eat the whole thing.

If you can see a lawsuit happening over too much salt, holy crap man. If the cop gets anything from this, I'm going to become rich because I can't count how many times I've asked for no mayo or extra pickles and I didn't get what I asked for
