Nev,

sorry about the accident.. I am just glad you are ok!

And now, what you need to do is make sure that other driver was at fault (is that street allow to make turns? or is it a protected left/U turn lane?) My suggestion is to hire a lawyer. Let me know if you need one that deals w/ auto accidents and injuries.. I can give you some pointers as I had been in alot of auto accidents myself..

hope for speedy recovery!

hey sorry to hear about ur accident, but if he does have insurance make sure u get some "additional pain and suffering" money...if you went to the hospital u should be able to get atleast an additional $5000 for a final settlement...u should be able to get more..I totaled my 1990 535i (not at fault) in september of 2001 and I not only got a GREAT payment for my 535i, but on top of that I got an additional $5000 settlement..and I did not even get hurt ...so the key is to make sure you complain a lot about the accident and you should get some extra money on top of the price it costs to replace your car...if you have any more questions about that let me know and I will try to help you out as much as possible...

Nev, glad to hear you are out of the hospital! Take good care of yourself and if you need help, let me know. Won't be around this weekend, but if you need a ride somewhere later and I am free, I'd be happy to help you out.

hey were you in a silver WRX, wingless, with exhaust because he went around the block a few times to see what was happening
well i have a silver Gc8 wingless with exhaust so yeah you might have seen me. i was parked on laguna and i was gonna turn left on geary but the cops blocked it off so yeah i came back around, i thought it was someone on the board cause i saw your morrettes, then i noticed that pole

what id recommend is seeing a chiropractor to see if theres anything wrong with your back, if so youll get massages everyday for free and a bigger settlement

Hey Nevz,

Sorry about your accident, but as others have mentioned, at least you weren't seriously injured. However, make sure to monitor any aches or pains that you have in the next couple of days. It sucks that your WRX was mashed up, but cars can be fixed/replaced.

Peace

CL

the thing I am worried about is I dont know if he had insurance bc I don't think I have uninsured motorist cov. I dont know what that really means but all i know I wasnt at fault and he should pay. Can someone fill me on uninsured motorist stuff and if he dosnt have ins. what will happen. Thanks again

Neven
Even if he doesn't have insurance, as long as you have full coverage you don't have to worry. All you'll be paying is the deductible.

FYI- If you have AAA, be careful! My friend had full coverage with AAA but didn't have unisured motorist coverage. When she got into an accident, they told her that they weren't going to pay for the damage because she didn't have uninsured motorist coverage and the guy that hit her didn't have insurance. It wasn't until a month later when I asked my insurance agent about the uninsured motorist thing. He told me that it's law that insurance companies have to pay for the damage even if the victim doesn't have uninsured motorist coverage. By the time I told her, she already got her car fixed and had to cough up about a grand.
