I am a dog lover and can't stand people that harm dogs, especially ones that make money of it and treat them like meat. The things they did are despicable and I think the fact that he's been treated the way he has is because of his celebrity status. Saying that I do think he was a good example. He was a high profile person to help expose the tortures of dog fighting that so many people were not aware of.

I do think he's paid the price. He's lost potentially hundreds of millions of dollars of salery and endorsement money over the rest of his life. He'll never be the madden cover mike vick again if he ever even plays again.

I mean can anyone TRULY make up for the bad **** they do. I don't think so. We can just punish them to the best of our legal ability and then see if they've changed. Hell there are people that have done less time for raping someone.

So hopefully he's learned and he moves on and hopefully on his OWN becomes a huge pusher against dog fighting and helps spread some knowledge around because I honestly don't think a lot of people are aware of what really goes down. It's not hey these two dogs fight to the death. You have to condition them to do that. People need to hear about that.
