Roommate needed - 2/1 Apartment, Martinez
I'm posting this on behalf of my roommate. I am currently in the process of moving out of our apartment and returning to my hometown of Milwaukee, WI.
My roommate, Melissa, and her boyfriend will need someone to replace me sometime in December/January. First let me say that both Melissa and Devin (the bf) are really nice, and very laid back. Both in their early 20s.
The apartment is a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom place here in Martinez, just a couple minutes off of Hwy 4, about 7 minutes away from 680. Nice apartment complex, very quiet most of the time. Kitchen, living room, nice sized patio deck thingy. Would share the common areas, and get your own bedroom. The bedroom is something like 13' x 10' - not too small, not huge. Fits my queen bed, desk, entertainment center, and dressers pretty well. The rest of the apartment has everything needed - couch, TV, microwave, blah blah.
Rent is $575 a month + utilities, which usually are in the $60 area. $250 deposit. Month to month, no lease. Other specifics can be covered by Mel and you. One covered parking spot shared, plenty of additional parking (I actually ***** the neighbor's covered parking most of the time).
There is a friendly cat, Reese, who will spend most of the time asleep against your leg on the couch or running around like an idiot. Mel takes care of her, you just enjoy her company. No other cats allowed, maybe a dog.
I believe they'd prefer someone like myself (I'm 21, work full time, also pretty easy going), but I don't know for sure. I think that as long as you're normal and respectful, it won't matter.
