Sounds like March 21-22 or March 28-29 up for consideration then.
I'm hoping we get some bluebird powder filled days when we are up there.

Yes, I really wanna get up there and ride with you all. Gonna see if I can get in at least two days. Still got some free passes and the ticket I had bought at Snowbomb

better than nothing... They've really upgraded their snow making set up for this season. So the plus side.... if the weather is there for it to snow that means they can make snow.

Last time I was up there they were making snow the entire day. And they've made big improvements on the grooming.

Essentially... here's my advice.

1. The back is getting low on snow in some areas so be very careful what runs you choose. Stay on the main ones... like g connect.

2. I'd stay on the front and just groomer smash. Mak West is pretty fun for that.

3. They've upgraded the patio at the bar. Get a seat... have a bloody mary.

If you're still up there... I'll be there on Sat for sure. Let me know. Or look for a dude with a dark beard and a black helmet. I'll be on my rock board... it's a Sierra Reverse Crew with black Malavitas's.

4. Use your rock board. IF you have a choice don't run your expensive board. My Libtech is sitting on the shelf. They're claiming 30 inch base... it's 30 inches at best. In some places it's seriously 6-8 inches. But I will say this... they've done as good of job as anyone in Tahoe and keeping nice groomers through juneuary.

We will. We always do. It's how we do it. That's why I time the trip the way I do.

Give me 2 weekends that work for you and the other Steve. We'll pick a date in the next few days. I'll get it on the books.... and tell steve to get a keg brewed.

Like I posted before, the last 2 wknds in Mar seem like a good fit for us.

And looks like Steve D. can only swing for Mar 28-29, so it's narrowing down even more.

Urryone else chime in, too.

Surprised Justin hasn't chimed in here yet. He's headed out with me, we were going to stay into Saturday. Hell, maybe we will. Where do you usually stay in the bear area.

Long as I get time to request it off, I'm good with any of the following in March:

14-15
21-22
28-29

Oh, and throw yer deuces up if you're not worried about not having any snow to shred at the end of March.

As WEEEEAAAAAKKKKK as June-uary has been, I'm confident for a turnaround like we had a couple seasons ago. I'm optimistic for a decent Feb, then a really good Mar.

The Sierras will get pummeled by a storm to rival the one that just hit back East.

Beware the Ides of March.....

I'm placing my chips on a late season surge.

Weekend of March 28-29th it is.
List of heads....
Cliff
Steve
Steve
Jordan
Ray
Jeff
Justin
Justin?

I told Jordan to put in for the time off last night. I'll put in for the time off. I think I'm going to take Friday/Monday off... possibly split early Wed or take all of wed off. Depends on how many days I can pile up between now and the trip. Either way, I'm gonna be up there for 4 days minimum.

All times are GMT -7. The time now is 07:24 AM.
