Oregon is forecast for 10+ FEET of snow over the three days next week.

Tahoe is 6-8 Feet.

Good base storm but we need about 2-3 more storms...

Today's the first day this year we had frost in our yard, and it was still -6C last time I looked at the thermo. People around town keep saying "just wait till after the 15th" so I guess it's really finally time to stop spinning the snow tires. We'll see! Last time I headed into Sac I was pretty shocked at the lack of snow. I have zero interest in snow sports but would seriously like to see some snow ASAP.

We've had a few frosts at my place but it's because I live in a fog channel.

I did hear some banging yesterday morning and I came out to find they workers had covered a few rows of their crops so it looks like they're expecting a freeze. I hear this weekend is suppose to be retarded cold. So the resorts should be able to manufacture a ton but we're not getting natural for another week. I'm getting so irritated it's not even funny. I went into snowboard depression and gained like 9 pounds... BAH!

I'm lucky to have the new home purchase and all the work that goes with that to keep my mind off of this fact. I was reading in the Tracy Press, this same drought hit in 1975 into 1976. February 2, 1976, it snowed in Tracy. Not a dusting, it was 6-8 inches minimum. Strange things happen when weather is in a pattern like this.

I've got so much to keep me occupied from thinking about pow. Trust me though I am quickly making room on the plate for a snowcone.

It's been cold enough to snow in Tracy almost every day in December. Most mornings I wake up, leaving my house at 6am, and it's below freezing. Some days in December it was 25 degrees at 6am. All we needed was some moisture.
