Did you have stock wheels on and what sounded like an APS exhaust? Parked in the village? Saw a blue sedan with exhaust and stock wheels leaving a lower parking lot in the village. Was hanging out with ipozetu at his LGT wagon next to boardaholic's WRX wagon.

All I have to say about this weekend, DEEP!!!!! I haven't ever ridden in snow that deep in the 10 or so years I've been riding. Hit up Bear as usual. Was getting knee to thigh deep snow all day Friday. OneManArmy (Ray) was hitting the trees and getting some chest to armpit deep turns. Had probably the scariest moment in my life so far. Went down in a flatter section of the mountain about 50 ft from the run. Right in the area where the snow cat was helping pile snow. Thankfully I went down on my back, but I was definitely buried head down, board in the air. Mouth full of snow instantly. Got it out and got a second mouth full immediately afterward. Thanks to Ray for running back up the hill in fresh snow to come help me out. I had to be dragged out, got the board off, swam through what I could and then with the help of Ray got pulled out. Suffice to say I was taking it easier the rest of the weekend.

I got some video I'm gonna work on getting up and posted. The snow was so light I was getting a couple face shots up into the camera as I exploded through the very few tracks there were.

Sat, rode with Ray, his brother Jordan and boardaholic. It was still really empty for a Saturday. Guess the weather kept people away. Had to trailblaze a couple spots due to the slowness of the snow. But still a great day.

Sun, the same 4 with the addition of stg2lgcy00, his buddy Kevin and ipozestu. Busy as hell at Bear. The front was nice, not as much people in the lift lines. The backside was overcrowded. Went to our stashes to avoid the crowds, still untouched there. Gave the camera to Ray to record some action.

Overall, one of the best weekends ever. Beer, snow, friends, what else can you ask for. Also a word of advice, never pay a mountain tweeker to shovel your driveway. Dude was lucky he didn't get his teeth knocked in. 3 feet of snow in Arnold and more trees down than I've ever seen.

You should have headed up. Boulder would still have been good. When i left at about 2:30, it was barely tracked. The trees going down from Stampmill were untouched, as well as on the side of Quicksilver. Never even made it out to the Shots, but i am sure those were still good too.

My buddy and I were the first people besides the Ski Patrol to make it down 6 Shooter as well. That was tons of fun.
No kidding? I effed up then.

I might ride today, I don't know yet. Those pics you posted.....DAMN!!!! lol

When there's powder why bother with park? Park days are a dime a dozen. Bear had the small park open but were still working on the big park.

Yeah... I'm not sure if it was the same there as it was at Bear Valley but it wasn't all that crowded on Friday or Sat and with the new snow coming in Friday night and barely getting touched Sat., there were TONS of lines to be had Sunday. And when were done with the day there was still plenty left over.

The way the snow set up at BV, it was tough to get in the trees and keep momentum up on Friday/Sat so a lot of that stuff was still left after the end of the day Sunday.

Sunday was pretty redic with crowds.

Dude... Jeff made the trip home in 2:34!

I may pretty good time too though. I stopped to get gas and some munchies with Jordan when we left your place. Then stopped at the top of the alt to take a ****. Made it home and was in bed at 11:15.

Somehow I stopped to take a leak and when I hit San Jose, Jordan was just hitting Fremont. LOL.

Seriously, if your goal is park find the big natural hits. There was a nice setup at bear. Saw a guy double 2 whoops and then went huge off the hip. Boardaholic went off it as well.
