Dodge is the closest to me too.. 3 hours.
Sierra is more like 3.5 - same with Northstar.

Its all good though still day trip it all the time!
Did it yesterday, and doing it again tomorrow!

For that half hour difference, you should def invest into more trips to Tahoe. Dodge really sucks IMO, but it all depends on what you like to ride.

If anything, I would see you. When you heading up? Maybe we can caravan.

Dodge was pretty good yesterday, descent amount of pow on the back side. Dans right tho dodge gets boring quick, you can only ride the shutes a few times before you get bored.
Dan I caught your text too late by the time I got to dodge I had no service anywhere on the mountain, I looked around for you but it was pretty crowded so it was near impossible.

 

Ya, I looked around alittle to see if I could find you. Ended up doing laps through the park. There were a few good spot left, but kinda hidden. I'll show you next time you come up.

For reference if you ever find me at dodge, i'll be cruising around with some guys in the tallest tees possible and in large groups going through the park.

Dodge is forecasted to get a couple feet for tomorrow. Will no doubt be ****ty riding weather, but the powder should be amazing.

I was at Sierra today, The Bashful jump line is so good right now!

 

All these storms are dumping when I am working. I will at least be riding up there on New Year's day. Might have to search more for some good powder or resort to hiking again.

 

I was at sierra today and the snow was falling like crazy!!the pow in the trees was amazing and so were the jumps at bashfull!!

 

I went today, and man it sucked. Rainy the whole freaking day. Like you said tonight should bring a ton of powder for tomorrow. I used to be all crazy in the park and stuff but have been surfing much more lately.

sidenote: as soon as I got home, I changed my tranny fluid, and tried to do my rear diff but that damn rear diff plug won't budge.
