I've caught three adults so far. It's strange that it's an odd number of adults. There must be one more adult lurking around.

Happy July 4th! Here's one big, fat rodent that won't be celebrating today.

Last year, they also nested inside the control drawer of my outdoor hot-tub. It smells like urine inside there. The rats also eat up my dog's food when he's not looking. I now lock up the dog food at night.

I only wish I had found out about this trap last year and killed many more. I don't have to roll out the welcome mat to these pests, and they are not going to stop invading my home and yard, and I am not going to stop killing them.
I guess you didn't bother to click the link (which is why RAT is underlined).

The link is to the profile of "Rat", aka Jeremiah, aka dent day hookup....

You're right; I didn't realize that was a link. I thought it was just "Rat" underlined for emphasis. Until now, I didn't know there was another forum member named "Rat".

I hear this loud snap Saturday night. When I looked outside, I saw this guy thrashing about. He put up a pretty good fight against the trap, but in the end, he kicked the bucket.

Some of those rats look like they're the size of a cotton tail.

I don’t even have a rodent problem and want to buy one of these traps just to see what I can catch.

I caught all these suckers in the back yard. I have seen squirrels hanging out in the front yard foraging for food. The squirrels are smart, though; they stay in the front yard so I haven't caught any yet. The Jaws o' Death have only caught their dumber cousins.

Return of the Rat Killer. So did you take a break from loading the traps or are you becoming victorious in your rat-battle??

All was quiet for a while so I stopped loading the traps. Last night I heard a squeaking noise outside so I set the trap. Turns out I was right.
