I had a mouse issue at my house when I was in high school years ago. We set up a trap in the closet where the water heater was. Sure enough 5 minutes later we hear a snap. Clear the dead mouse, reset, 5 min later, snap, repeat. we had about 8 mice in under an hour dead.

Nice kill ratio, BTW.

There is no banning here on I-club. You might get a cool "pest killer" status under your name though. Pictures?

Too bad you're allergic to cats.
I brought one (a third striker) home from the Humane Society, and he's simply amazing. He makes the "Shock and Awe" campaign look like a little sideshow, with his "Grab and Claw" technique. He'll bring them in, toss them around the room, smack them, and torture them before he actually kills them. Then he'll eat his tasty treat.
I usually wind up picking him up and carrying him outside, while he keeps a firm grip on the rodent (mouse, mole, rat, vole, gopher) or bird. He loves hunting, and is extremely proficient at working them over, and decimating the population.
