hmm...ive had a RTR 3 for years now and its still brand new in the box....got it as a gift for graduating highschool (ive been done with college for about 2 years now....just to give you a figure on how long its been up in my storage shelf)
I wonder if i should play with it....

i got a RC nitro car for christmas thanks to the wife...only bad thing is that she didnt get the starter kit so i have no way of starting it up...any one know any local places i can pick one up...also what kind of fuel do these cars take and where to get it from...
heres the one she got me... all advice and tips greatly appreciated

They use nitro fuel, can be bought at hobby stores too.
Avoid sheldons hobbies, mark up prices compared to Dj and Rc unlimited and very rude customer service.
thank you im in hayward so Rc unlimited sounds like the spot to go to..how much does a starter kit cost?

Nor-cal has good stocks, but is marked a bit higher than other places, but it might be worth it, as DJ/RC unlimited have a relatively small supply.
They cost around $30-40 w/ tax included i believe.
You could try custom street Toyz in Hayward and Nor-Cal Hobbies in Union City.

I would go to NorCal, d&j or rc unlimited as well.
thanks for all the help guys been wanting one for like 2 years and finally got it... are there any tips on the motor like do i have to tune it... up keep etc...thanks total rookie when it comes to these cars
