Check out edmunds.com for the invoice price. You can also try online buying there, or Costco or AAA or autobytel. Use that information to get a good deal. If you are a good negotiator and have several hours to kill also any dealer should be okay, go to Stevens Creek only if you can play their type of game.
As for service Carlson or Santa Cruz.

Didn't happen for a week, so I installed my stereo (a single Alpine 9835 HU - no external amp, no speakers, no sub, just the HU) and its power line. 3 days later, its did the stupid battery dead thing again. Called SOA & the dealer again. Brought it in, at which point they decided that the battery deaths were due to my 'aftermarket equipment' rather than a cruddy alt or battery.
I replaced the battery, and it hasn't done it since then. This was very clearly the dealer deciding they didn't want to deal with it and using a crux of aftermarket gear to not deal with it.

especially if you run it without the engine running.

btw, this is a joke, but seriously, stay the f*ck away from stevens creek dealerships. If you dare try them out, first go there and say you are interestested, then go to santa cruz and compare the experience.

When I was car shopping...I went to Stevens Creek to check out the WRX. They offered me a test drive so I took it. Then when we were done, I told them that my wife has to be involved in the decision so they offered me to take the car home to try it out. I didn't take them up on it since I hadn't even asked my wife about selling my car yet and trading it for a WRX. The sales and service people have been nothing but kind and courteous every time I've been there. Plus the price was very competitive (they beat the price Santa Cruz offered me). I'm not sure what more a dealer could offer?
I also wanted a dealer close to home for services and this is the one. Everyone here has their preferences, but I just want everyone to know that there are two sides to every story. A lot of the negative stories I've read sounded like the people went in like a smart-mouth punk and they ended up getting treated like one also. I'm sure there are always exceptions but I want to share my own positive experiences with everyone.
