Frame Locks on an STi?

So these guys on the penninsula fabricate framelocks and would like to test fit them on my car.

Half of me says what the hell go for it, the other half says you're an idiot to try such a thing and that its a bunch of crap.

Thoughts?

I read the reviews of the ones they made for the Honda and it had some pretty impressive feedback. There's not much to lose, other than an extra bolt or 2 in my bumper beam. They just called me also, I think I'm going to do it.

nah, i think he is talking about the ones that lock the front bumper beam to the frame, stiffening up the front end. my friend was getting test fitted for them on his RSX. It seems a lot of honda guys like them.

My buddies hatch is one of their test vehicles.

They want me to put them on my wagon. Think I might do it.

watch out if you install them, wreck and a smart insurance inspector notices them after the teardown...

Tested we did, we sold alot of it and no issues to date. My first WRX still has them on and still intact. I know a few customers that even race and autocross with them on and use it as a daily driver.

It basically locks out the floating rear suspension assembly and leaves the rear diff bushings to absorb most of the play and not sway the car around with pronounced instability left to right thus better feel and more true @ss sliding. It also eliminates the tire rubbing when you alter the neg camber off the rear etc..

just my personal findings and dont sue me please.

http://www.rallitek.com/pictures/SPH...bframelock.jpg This is what I was yapping about.

nope... I was referring to the lock out rear bolts. The front subframe stuff will make the car plow more if it has no other mods and front allignment alterations.
