Question Auto / Subwoofer "carpet"?

Fist off, let me say that I'm not into building my own sub boxes or into customized audio in my car.

With that said, where do I get the material (similar to the one lining our trunks) in SF or bay area? What do I ask for? I assume you can get it off of a bolt or roll. Is the material expensive?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanx!

Stan

no joke. Where are you? I've been trying to find a close match for about a year and haven't found it.

What kind of shop? If you're an audio shop I'm gonna be pissed. Cause my stereo has been down for ages. On top of that it was installed terribly to begin with by someone other than me. I may need your assistance...I'll know better today.

So can I assume that I can purchase this material from any "custom auto audio" place?

NO. I've gone to at least 5. None of them could get anywhere close to it.

I got desperate and you indoor/outdoor carpet that is close to the same shade but way off on texture...only temporary.

It's insanely hard to match.

The 05's interior is darker..and easier to match. Bastards.
