Any recommendations on where to buy used Subaru engines?

Looking for a legit spot to purchase a used STi engine. I'm considering a swap on a wagon but would like your guy's advice on where to go to for a good (used) engine. Thanks in advance guys!

If you're looking for a long block anything low mileage and under $3k is a bargain.

I doubt local shops would have anything used in that price range. You can always try calling. PM'd you about where else you might have luck. I think you could also buy a used block and work your way up around that pricepoint.

You can do a hybrid build for that price if you do your own work.

A legit STI swap will cost you 4-5k for the engine, wire harness and ECU.

A hybrid is a 2.5 block with your WRX heads.

A new sti short block can be bought for 2200 or so but the rest will also cost a bit. A hybrid is probably the best route. My buddy did it and I'm actually pretty impressed on the output
