Oh man. That sucks. Well at least you're back to running normally.

I still wouldn't put that AEM back on. Sell it. Put the money towards and accessport or some suspension upgrades.

Isn't that switch the parking light switch?

I'm on my way to work right now, I will definitely keep everyone posted about what's going on.

I just turned on my car and my engine light went off by itself, problem solved!!!! I love this community!!!! Thanks everyone for reading and helping me find the solution!! I am super thankful!! I also will not be putting the intake back on, my original plans were suspension mods, guess this is a sign to not mess with my motor :P thank you all!!!!! Much appreciated!

Stoked for you. Glad it worked out.

Yeah I'm always a fan of suspension, wheels, tires first. Then power. STi's have decent wheels and tires... and suspension. But with a few upgrades you can do a lot of good.

And an access port makes a huge difference and is the building block for future power mods. So if you keep it the way it is and just do an access port you'll be happier than that intake would have made you anwyays.

You can find them used cheap these days.

Lol there was a member selling the aspen white sti in the bay area with 26k miles so I decided to pick it up. And for me I drive my dads beater for work and school so the sti is just a garage queen. 2 months into ownership and I only put 600 miles.

Should I buy an accessory new? I heard there's a warranty just in case something goes wrong.
