40-45 is typically reccomended for street tires during RallyX.
btw, there are two RallyX specific boards with all sorts of fun information about venues and events, how to go faster, and what not to do:

Thunderhill is the name of the raceway and it's located in Willows, CA.

when will rallyX be held on that MX track? is it in use? that would be perfect i think, smooth out all the jumps...or make a new track, they have plenty of land.
Prairie City was pretty much like a MX track, but i want cliffs and drop offs next to the track, it just feels better and looks better on video that way HAHA!
haha...or the people that had to go to that bathroom across the slope...they could probly run there faster
i hope you have *SOME* confidence in your driving! if youve messed around in the dirt before, you should be fine...but if you havent, then yeah id be a little scared of a WRX flying at me...but really when you work the course, youre always ready to jump out of the way. Just walk the course and memorize it, the crossover loops will probly be the hardest thing to understand. And if you have any doubt about a course worker ON course, like in your path, just stop and re-run...basically im saying dont tell your mom you think this way

a low one could...your bumper might dig in in spots. on occasion there are weird angled ditches that you have to traverse, but thats only at new events i think...the established ones have all the kinks straightened out.

So... I had the travel of stock, but more roll stiffness on that corner... and I still popped the bumper.
It's all about your willingness to risk it. If you see a rut, you can always give up time to save your car.

At Antioch 2 last week, my friend or I popped my front bumper cover off sliding into a deep rut. And I'm on stock suspension, with Whiteline 22mm adjustable sway bars set on hard of 2 settings. (Yeah, I know that's wrong, but I'm too lazy).
So... I had the travel of stock, but more roll stiffness on that corner... and I still popped the bumper.

I was also at the rally x, but risk is something I really do not want to do my car has too much time and money to mess it up lol

the least you can do is have an extra $60 laying around for your alignment after the race
otherwise you will cord a $130 tire if you drive on it for a month after a rallyX
yeah...like i did
