In general the event was a much higher speed race than the Prairie City was. The two fast sweepers started breaking down on the outsides towards the end of the day and the last few turns rutted up early on and only got worse. The surface at Antioch is really sub-optimal for RallyX but it's a close venue and that definately helps the turn out (which helps us put on more events). That being said it was a great event if you managed to not de-bead your tires.

Thanks to everyone that came out and had a good time!

There were a few debeads, which one are you talking about? Everyone I saw that debeaded including myself either had a spare or got it fixed. I think I had the most pain in getting mine fixed due to not enough pressure, but I got a ride from a fellow dirtyimpreza member to a gas station and filled it up enough to rebead the tire. I should have just done that in the first place instead of monkeying around with it for so long. I don't bother buying spares right now as I'm about to buy rally rims, but I have friends to help me out so its all good.

Yup it was me then, I ran practically all the track with it debeaded. It felt like it happened when I came into the 3rd turn before the figure 8. I wasn't completely sure it happened, so I kept running. I didn't really care about the rim anyhow, I beat hard on a 10 month old car.

Edit: oh and I still managed a 1:43 with the debead.

one last Q-

which has more elevation change?

Prairie City or Thundercross?

Thundercross mentioned they go more towards the MX track, but i couldnt imagine it being too extreme for safety/people who crash reason.
