Thunderhill has a lot of elevation changes, but they're not that bad. I've never been to prairie city so I couldn't tell you which is worse.

Just email the person running the event and they are normally cool enough to send you out a couple of it. If you want to go to thunderhill next month I know Geoff will send one to ya if you email him.

Yeah, email the organizers.

From what I read, it's almost an exact duplicate of the waiver you sign for ANY activity. From indoor rock climbing, to rafting, to range shooting, to bicycle rentals, to kayak rentals, to .... etc.

Show your mom this video... it's from last year's Antioch, my first rallyx, so I'm nice and slow. She see how tame it is. And don't forget to tell her you never get out of 1st gear (well, beginners don't).

The course Geoff made is fun. It is safe for your car, it will get torn up a little after several runs as does any course. Other than that it's good.

Very smooth.. no rocks or ruts.. there are elevation changes that make it interesting. There was one point where you're driving down through a dip so if you went too fast, I imagine you might catch something, but he put a slalom there to slow it down and that worked great.

As far as any fears of rolling off your bead, just pump 5-10 PSI into your tires beforehand (which, IMO, I think is worth doing for typical street driving, too)

It's the standard disclaimer that NASA and SCCA use. It should be on their sites.

Worse is a matter of perspective To that point, Prairie City has more changes that the 1st thundercross had (I wasn't at the second). The most danger at Prairie City was just getting to the track.

Back when we had SFR/SCCA rallyXs at T-hill there was hardly any elevation change, similar to Antioch.
