it is all good. The one concern was his **** looking different, but apparantly most boys these days aren't circumsized so he will probably be in the majority when they are
whipping them out in the locker room
It may seem like cosmetic now, but not when he's 80 and senile and can't pee cause the flap is crusted shut. My mom worked for a urologist and there was a lot of old men coming in who could barely get up to go anywhere let alone try to keep themselves clean. They couldn't go pee because it was completely crusted shut. So at 80, they were getting circumsized to not have the problem anymore. As far as I'm concerned, I'm cut and I'd rather be cut than uncut, so my son will be the same way.

My wife talked to an RN from this hospital who used to work in the Maternity ward and said that waiting 2 weeks is starting to become a standard now for whatever reason and it's the being strapped down that gets them crying the most.

You should make your first mod circumcision, it trims down some of the weight and thus your son will go faster!

Being cut isn't as common as people think. Indians don't cut, (unless they are muslim i think), but yeah, there are TONS of people who didn't get cut, livin' just fine. Teach good hygiene, and you're good to go.

But if it's gotta happen, I'd want it to happen as close to birth as possible. 2 weeks just seem unreasonable.

I guess it's like shaving off the OE emblems from your trunk.
It's more like removing the springs, imho. That tissue serves a sexual purpose and has a lot of nerve endings. Do what you want, but definitely research the subject before performing an irreversible cosmetic surgery on your baby boy.

BTW, my son is 19 months and sporting all his original equipment.

I have a 3 year old son ad he was circumsized at 2 weeks old. It is standard procudere to wait after birth a week or two. My son took it like a champ!! The worse paprt is seeing him strapped down to the table. As far as the procudere it takes about 10 miutes, and barley bleeds. It heels within 10 days and your good. The flip side is not doing this and haveing major possiblilty of infections throughout your childs pre-adult life due to not properly cleaning behind the foreskin...much better to have the procudere in my opinion...

However, going uncut guarantees he at least finds someone who can see past a petty, and in the end, pretty insignificant difference.

When it comes down to it, the difference is insignifcant. Due to the prevailing preference among a potentially superficial partner is cut, I'd leave him uncut to automatically filter out those kinds of people for him.

Plus if he doesn't like the decision, it's already been brought up that there are cultures which circumcise in teenage years. He can get cut later if he doesn't like it.

Ive heard the debate both ways, and although I am cut, I wont allow them to cut my child. Not only is it brutal, but you could potentially lose a lot of nerve endings/feeling and that's just NOT RIGHT.

Leave him be!

I was watching MANswers last week, and they were asking what happens to the skin left over from the circumcision? MANswers said that it is used in some Facial Creams used by females.
LOL!!!

After reading everything, I research my own, and my opinion is that there is more feeling and better orgasm without chopping anything off. Having it cut takes away some nerve endings as previously stated. Teach good hygiene, and everything will be fine. That's like making sure your car is clean during the wash, make sure to pop the trunk and clean the rim of it so it doesn't leak down the back.

Learn to keep it clean! =)
