pulled over by OPD
a vietnamese OPD with bad english said my exhaust creats bad air.
i have a hks carbon ti, and with catless DP. he doesnt know anything about the DP. he asked me to pop up my hood, he can not tell the Dp its catless. all he said was the exhaust its too loud and it creats bad air. #$%^&*(
anyhow, he gave me a fix ticket that i have to sign off. ticket its for altered exhaust system.
after i sign the ticket off, if i put my exhaust back on again, then get pull over, i will just get another fix ticket right?

He only gave you a fix ticket. You should be thankful. Sell that HKS and get yourself more stealth looking catback. Actually he's partially right on "bad air" though.
Also, why you gotta make fun of his english. Oakland is one of the top multi-cultural city. We (I work in that city and not a cop) need all the police that we need in that city. Oakland PD don't play round. Meaning, they don't usually pull over a car for loudness since they are so busy. Perhaps, you drove too fast?

I was told when I got my exhaust ticket that it was an incorrectable violation. I had to pay 114 dollar fine. The cop said it was a fixit ticket so I put in my silencer and got it signed off. The court house said oh no this is not a fix it ticket you have to pay the fine. Then I paid it. I got pulled again and the guy said that now I have to pay 228 dollar fine and the next time I would have to pay twice that. After 3 they inpound my car and send me to the ref. SO far I have only paid 114. The second cop, I just showed him I already got a ticket for it and that I have a silencer. I put it in and he said thats better you should weld that thing in there. ha ha. Good luck.
