Talking Wut up.

Hey everyone,

I'm new here, just wanted to say what's up to the Bay kats.
I just purchased an '05 STI, been looking at them for a few years now. I used to have a nissan 200sx with a BB engine, fun times but smog had my ticket. booo!

Anyhow, just wanted say what up. Here to gain some knowledge on the STI. I love the car and hoping to add a few mods; nothing too crazy out the door. Friggin payments have that in check. lol

Any recs. on bay area shops for general maint. and mods would be great.

Anyone near or around east oakland?

Welcome. You live in the right place to own a Suby. Check out the Meeting, Events, and Donuts link:

https://www.i-club.com/forums/meetings-events-donuts-91/

You should head to the GST grand opening party. You'll get to meet a lot of the local suby community and check out a very reputable shop all in one stop.

Hello KOSTI.

For service maintenance, I highly recommend LIC Motorsports in Novato. These guys do great work (much better than dealerships, IMO) and take care of Subarus well. It's not far at all, about 20 min after GG Bridge.

Yes I miss my lil DET sleeper.. that was a quick and painful car.. Still waiting for Nissan to come back with the SR20DE-T, who am I kidding..

Thanks everyone, I'm bookmarking and keeping notes here

Anyone have tips on free mod's that may help?
I know with the nissans and others simple timing adjustments and what not would add a few horses..

Thanks in adv.
