wut kinda MBC

what kind of manual boost controller is the best and cheapest.. i guess just best bang for the buck... right now i have uppipe, and turbo back.. with a drop in filter.. and i was wondering if i should invest in a mbc and just put the boost up to 15-16psi... only for times when i go to the track and when i feel like goofy around!! .... eventually im going to upgrading the turbo with injectors, and a new top mount.. but anyways just wondering whut the best mbc is.. and maybe if there is a conflict going on about having one...

Rather than screwing with a MBC, I would recommend going to a local tuner to have your ECU tapped and tuned to maximize the mods you have currently installed. Well worth the investment, IMO.

do a search on open loop vs. closed loop fueling and MBC's. You should come up with plenty of info about the issues associated with running an MBC with the stock ECU.

Thanks

what year is your car?

edit: profile says 02.

due to the older ecu revision, you can run an MBC. to run safer by sidestepping the part throttle full boost issue, buy one of ed/eq tuning's open loop managers.
