Luckily all your online stats stay since theyre stored on Infinity Ward's (or someone elses now) servers. What you can lose is your games saves which sigma pi said he could pull for you and then they can be loaded onto the new PS3. From what I remember before, loading the game saves isnt exactly as easy as it sounds. Believe theres a few steps in registering the new PS3 on your account and transfering all the game saves. What really makes it a pain is all the game saves that can't be taken off the PS3 due to dev's locking them. Also, you may need to contact specific game developers if you had any of those game specific vouchers (extra weapons/cars that kind of thing) since you most likely wont be able to use the redemption code that came with the game. But all your online stats, trophies, and downloaded items from PSN are still safe and secure.

Just a heads up (you guys might know this already), if anyone decides to send their PS3 to Sony for repairs PULL YOUR HARDDRIVE!!! Like others have said, you typically get a refurbished PS3 back and Sony will give you a new harddrive not your original.
