Why is the aftermarket belt a 5PK865??
Do you have an under drive crank pulley?

Not sure if he does or not, but it has been established the alternator pulley is different. That being the case I think it's safe to say the crank pulley is underdrive. Then again, something about assumptions being the mother of all...

Roy, since you are still squeaking due to that light weight pulley, another solution is to remove your ps belt and take it either to Subaru or Kragen's for a gates blt that is 2 or 3 mm shorter than your current belt. You told me earlier that your adjuster was already maxed out.

I have had to do this when I put a super charger pulley 17% smaller than factory for my mini in the past.

Yes I do have an under drive crank pulley - Jerry pointed that out when he looked at my car.

Bryan - I will do that when I have the time all things considered, thank you.
