Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Yet another cel question (yes I searched)

I just had the cold weather problem fixed at the dealer, for my 02. The next day I installed a 3' MRT turbo back, with the cat in the down pipe.
The cel came on about 300 miles later, It rarely goes out but if it does it come on again.

I'm going to check the exhaust and cel connections.and reset my ecu.

Can a small leak (if it is leaking) throw a cel?
If I take the car to the dealer will the void my warranty?
Thanks

If you take it back with your TBE, they will void it .... but then again it depends on the dealership. Some dealership are willing to overlook mods. It seems like you should install a MIL eliminator (from pony express or helix) for the O2 sensor. Hope that helps...
I don't think leaks cause CELs ..... its not good either ... bad for your health

Get the code read, and if it is the o2 sensor again, then you should look into the fixes, like the mil eliminator as stated above, or even the mechanical fix which i did when my turboback caused my cel. You can do a search to find out more about the o2 cel fixes. Good luck with your problem.

do u have a laptop? if so buy the digimoto(see homepage). . . plus i would like to see someone actually make a statement about it

in regards to your warranty being denied. the bottom line is that someone has to pay 4 it. and the reasons have to be justified.
