Potato Chips

Help me settle a debate. In Canada they got all kinds of freaky flavored potato chips. Lays up here has Ketchup, Dill Pickle, and "All Dressed" which I guess is every flavor on one chip. I don't remember seeing these when I was in California, but maybe I was just always going for the K.C Masterpiece BBQ chips. Do they sell these weird flavors at like Safeway in California??

TIA

No, and England has even weirder flavors than in Canada...I mean in the UK they have two kind of popcorn in every theater, with salt (same as we have) or with sugar (!) which out sells the salted kind 2:1.

Hmm, some of the English flavors have moved over here though, Salt and Vinegar, but have you ever had Shimp flavored?

And do you know that kind of sickly feeling you get from eating too many cookies at once - well the English even have a fix for that, a "digestive" cookie er biscuit that doesn't make you sick, no matter how many you eat (they taste pretty good too).

I haven't been to the UK in a long time, but if you're really interested, ask UKnoob, I'm sure he knows 'em far better than I.

A couple of years ago Lays had several different flavors, Dill pickle being one of them, and released one at a time for a period of time to survey what would sell. I remember the dill pickle as being one of the best, and there was also a cheddar flavor unlike what's out now, which wasn't as good.

i know in the little mexico communities they have "Limon" and now you can find it at most liquor stores.

Sun Chips are the best chips ever. If you don't have them, find them!

You can get Digestive Cookies at Cost Plus and at some Chinese supermarkets (Hong Kong folks eat a lot of them due to the good ol' British colonial influence).

In China they have all sorts of weird flavored Lays. My mom brings them back all the time. They have roast chicken, peking duck, crab...and the list goes on. the duck one is SO awesome.

Asian markets usually have shrimp flavored chips. Not sure if they're potato based though.
