I paid $460 for it. I've seen a couple sell for a little lower than that but they're starting to come up for sale less and less. And now that they're discontinued, your only Canon option is $1,400 and F4 so not mad about paying almost $1,000 less Yeah I can see me not using it everyday or frequently, but I want to shoot skateboarding/snowboarding more and there's a few instances in motorsports that I wish I had it. Plus its nice and compact so even if I'm on trip and want some fun photos without too much gear, I'm covered

 

ok, yea it would help for skate/snowboard pics. what do you think about that new canon pancake lens? the 40mm one. Was thinking about maybe even picking that up its less than 300.
