what breed is he? he kinda looks like a rott lab mix or something like that

 

They tell us he is sheppard, cattle dog something. I think its more rott, cattle dog. He was a stray that was found with kids throwing rocks at him. Got him from a shelter.

Yea I know. The funny thing is, he follows my 2 year old everywhere he goes. But he's somewhat afraid of me. So someone else was abusing this poor dog.

my girl had this dog that was abused and scared of everyone. So I by accident found two things that broke the ice.

Cheese and a Ball. The dog was a small poodle. But soon as he saw the cheese I could not get him away from me. And the ball was his 2nd best friend. He died last week. But he was still chasing that ball and since I knew he was going.. We sat on the couch with his ball, watched some top gear and shared some sharp cheddar cheese. That next afternoon he died with his ball at his side. He was a rescued dog. I knew nothing about his history. We had him for 3 years. But boy he was funny as hell.... And it all started with that cheese...

 

They named him Houston but he didn't respond to it. We changed it to Magnus. Within a day he responds to it.

Right now he has Kennel cough. So he's lethargic and sullen. Once he gets through the medicine, I'll start trying to engage him more.

 

these stories just go along with my decsion to only adopt pets. I think my german shepard mix was abused before we got her. but she has been happy ever since (16yrs old). Also adopted a cat and have had him for 10 years.
