after having them next to each other i can clearly see that the 5d is huge and heavier next to the t2i, so far i really like it and can't wait to go out to take some real pictures.

I do. I have a D200 body that's getting long in the tooth. Eager to see how the anticipated D800 performs. Otherwise, I'll be getting a D700 - I don't know how much video I'd shoot anyway.
