I dont have time to read all the posts, so someone might have said this. Heres what I would do. I would first call the sfpd and have a personal complaint put on the officer involved. He cannot do anything about that and your complaint will be on his record forever. Second, Im not sure about the rs or other year wrxs, but I have an 04' and it has daytime running lights, so your lights would be on. Third if you have any problems with the officer after the complaint, I would call a lawyer and go right after the officer. I am majoring in Criminal Law and want to become a police officer and cops like that give such a bad name to police officers.
