Hi all,
I thought I'd post this in section, since I gather that a few of you are photography & digital camera buffs.
My g-friend has decided to put together a photo album to pass around at her family's Xmas gathering, so she's asked me to help her get a bunch (almost 200) digital pics converted/developed/?--(not sure of correct, digicam terminology). They are stored on a COMPACT FLASH Memory card.
I have no idea where to have this done. To my surpise, digital pic processing isn't a commonly offered service. The places I frequent for regular film processing, like CostCo, Walgreen's, etc don't do it.
I did go to RITZ Camera in the Stonestown Galleria near SF State, but they wanted $0.49/print. Actually, the price isn't really the issue. The prints they produce are on flimsy photo paper that curls up easily and looks like it can tear just as much ease. The RITZ store clerk said that some places do offer digital photo processing on sturdier photo paper like regular film prints, but the guy couldn't recommend a place!

Anyways, can someone recommend a good place in the SF Area that processes digiprints onto "sturdy" photo paper, similar to regular film prints?
Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
CL
