i used to have 35% front and 5% rear.

I got hassled by the cops out in vacaville(where I used to work) but never by the cops in Orinda (where I live)

now that I dont work in vacaville anymore i'm considering tinting the front again.

right now I just have 5% rear and nothing in the front

 

15% all around.

But I think the Nevada plates keep the cops from harassing me (though, according to a CHP officer, they could still pull me over and give me a fix-it-ticket).

Nope. I technically have to be legal in California if I drive in California, regardless of where the vehcile is registered.

 

Yep. I got a felony stop when I first came back out to cali after the navy(had to get out of the car at gunpoint). I had a CT driver's license with FL plates with 5% all the way around including top and bottom of the windshield following the federal law of 12"s of vertical vision through the windshield. For some reason it made the fuzz real nervous. The were going to give me a ticket but I just ripped it off in front of them to avoid any further hassle.

 

20 back window, 35 on the sides... dark, but not too dark.

got pulled over once and cop noticed the tint but didnt give a ticket for it. just do it.

I plan on getting very light tint in the front, 5% on the 2 side trunk windows and 35% on the rear passenger doors and 5th door window.

 

35% front, 20% rear....im in the fairfield/suisun area and never have been hassled and ive had the tint on for about a year now....fyi if ur going to ask who to get it tinted by....go to omega tint werks and give vincent a call...best tint around for an amazing price!
