Ncti or south city IMO... I went to Santa Cruz but their tuition has doubled since I went there, it's over 25 grand now which is ***ing retarded when foothill is 4 grand. I think ncti will be faster than the community colleges.
Faster the better, means you get to work sooner. Saving 6 months will make you 20-30 grand assuming you get a job.

I highly recommend NCTI Livermore. I am still in the didactic portion of the program and have had a great experience so far. It is a fast rate program and decently priced compaired to other Paramedic Programs. They also do payment plans which is great for those who can't forkout a ton of cash upfront.

Sorry man, I thought you were joking. EMT-B is basically the ambulance driver and the Paramedic gets to do the fun stuff like intubation, IV's, defibrillation and emergency medicine.
Paramedic is definitely more advanced than a EMT is.
