I know a lot of people don't clean the IACV all the way, so I'm just throwing this out there in case you only took it off and wiped it down until it was shiny. Unfortunately, there's a writeup on NASIOC about just taking it off, grabbing a ton of q-tips and going to town. However, that doesn't clean it completely.
Here's the correct way: My IACV cleaning writeup - NASIOC
That magnetic part can get stuck if there's gunk in it. If you already did this, then disregard my post, and good luck finding a spare. Maybe a pick and pull near you?

thanx, i DIDN'T do this initially but i DID see this after i tried to clean it.. i didn't pull it apart cuzz i don't have that weird torx... was trying to avoid doing so much extra work and instead borrow a working one. but it looks like i'm going to pull it apart after all though since i can't find one locally. the junkyard/auto recyclers here in SF don't get newer subys lol.
