Exactly. I'll check tomorrow and if you can wait then you can get it locally. If not take stryder up on his offer.

Does it Valve usually go bad?
I think my valve might be bad to.

You can try to clean it if its just sticking, it does get gummed up sometimes, are you getting a P0508?
I had to replace mine a while back because the magnet was shattered.

I am not getting any codes, but my idle is pretty crazy on start up. I was thinking about cleaning it. Maybe I'll try that first.

lorenzo... you'll know if something is wrong. your idle will be high (1.5k to 2k at start up (usually cold starts) and it won't drop to the normal which is 500. You'll get the CEL then.

lorenzo, If you need help with yours I'll lend a hand.

teamk8o8 lmk if you still want me to check. I can check after work today.

Yeah, that's exactly what mine is doing right now. At start up is hit 2k and stays there. The hotter the engine gets, the lower the rpm goes. At idle my RPM is at 1k. Is that too high?

Is your ac on when it's around 1k? If so that maybe normal. If it's not on the yes. It's not good and maybe signs it's gonna fail soon. Lmk off this thread if you need help.

Don't forget to pick up a gasket before you clean it. You wont be able to reuse it when you take it off.
