I guess it depends on what you're looking for. If you are more in the market for comfort and style, then the G37 is for you, especially if you have, what, $50K, or whatever the 37 costs. If you do get the Infinity, be sure to get the package that comes with the good brakes, the summer tires and the 6spd, unless you don't want the performance version.
On the other hand, if you don't mind a used car, and you want something more sporty, all-weather prone and practical, the STi is for you. Choosing the STi will definitely save you some money for mods and other stuff, but you'll get looks from a different crowd with the G37. The G37 is noticeably heavier, and larger overall than any year STi, and it surely has a less optimal power to weight ratio, since it only has 330 hp for, I think, 3800lbs. The STi is more favorable, at 293 for 3200-3300 lbs. Plus the Scoobie is torquier (if that's a word
) Plus it's a Subie!!!
Oh, my vote is for the '05, since that's what I've got!!!

lol i have test drove each one. i really do love the sti, ive had my heart on one for the longest time, ive considered a g37 because i love the lux and such. i normally would go for the 07 sti cause i could afford it, the g37 would be the most exspendsive price i can go and 05 sti would be cheapest
I'm sure u already know but g37 being a new car, u won't have to worry about pretty much anything. 07 sti will be next. if u like both 05 and 07, ill settle for 07 lm edition but I personally like the 05 bodystyle much much more, it'll save u close to 10k if u find a good deal

i voted 07 because if i voted 05, that might be one less 05 for me to choose from in 20 years
just a guess, but the g37 is in the 135i price range right?
if so, i know what direction to turn this convo
to the dark side

G37 = meh, not really a fan of those cars, they just handle sloppy to me.
07 STi is a better choice but you run the risk of It over heating and the Cylinder #4 ring land problem...
05 STi Is a way better deal and could be picked up fairly cheap.
But If I had some dough and was looking to pick up a very nice looking/handling/luxurious car I would take a look at the new Lexus IF-s, I drove one not to long ago and was blown away at the power and the handling of the car not to mention the looks!
