Criminals get less rights, not more.

Sure their deaths were tragic, but it was clearly THEIR responsibility. You guys seem to want the whole state (cars, pedestrians, bicyclists, pigeons, etc) to just let these guys drive their asses off.

Sure they COULD have just followed them until they ran out of gas. How many others would they put in danger? If they did it that way, think about them running over your sister/mother, and then you hearing the radio calls later that the cops were going to back off.

As for the passenger, as my parents always told me, be careful who you pick as your "friends".

You guys are the same people that would support a robber's family suing me after I fill his *** full of hollow points. There are risks associated with crimes. Period.

edgar,
Logic and reasoning skills buddy.

Perfect? I never said I was perfect. I said that I would stop when the cops try to pull me over. And if I didn't and I died in the process, I deserved it.

1. chase has been going for over 60 miles.

2. once the freeway was clear, PIT was used.

3. driver been going high rate of speed.

those are the driver's actions.

why was she running?

why didnt she stop?

maybe everyone's been brainwashed in kalifornia to believe criminals have more rights that the law abiding citizens.

imagine if she hit a family and killed them first. imagine all the fingerpointing why the cops didnt do anything to stop her...

you're kidding... right?

just like those bank robbers in north hollywood who were shooting up the entire place. i suppose you would just let them continue shooting until they ran out of bullets?!?

Just throw piles of flowers in front of the suv. Eventually the flowers will slow the car down and a bunch of puppies can escort the bad people to club med.

edgar,
That's pure conjecture. It's not like the car that gets pitted stops instatly, it takes time to slow as well.

Maybe if people didn't think they'd get away with running from the cops int he first place, they wouldn't try so often.

Or should we have waited till they plowed into a family car?

Man, you are an ***! What if the girl who died was ridiculously hot?
