If you are putting $10K into the truck, u can't do that to the WRX instead?

$10K into the WRX > $10K into the truck

but

$10K into the truck > $1800 into the WRX

ok, so I got my tax returns back the other day, and I WAS gonna buy a set of StopTech's for the Suby....but then I started thinking....I have another project that I have been saving up for, for like 3 years.....and I dunno what I wanna do now.

The other project is for my truck....not the suby. I have been saving up to put a full rock crawler 3 link (front), 5 link (rear) coil over suspension complete with a Live (solid) axle up front, fully geared -n- locked up. Here's some pics of the same setup on a Dodge Dakota....imagine this on a 2 Door Chevy Tahoe.....

what to do, what to do, oh what, oh what am I to do?!......

I emailed the Truck Place for a quote, so I guess it all comes down to that....I am expecting the truck to run me in the vicinity of $10k when all is said and done.

wow, thanks for all the responses....the truck will still be streetable....I will be able to drive it to the woods, wheel for the weekend and drive home....so it wont be a fully caged rock crawler....but it will have the suspension of one. I emailed Lavender Brothers for a quote and am currently waiting for a response....The other place I was gonna get a quote from IS that place in Sac....the one off Sunrise (on the way to S^2) I dont know what its called tho, just know where it is.

Dre....does your friend have a shop? or does he just do all his work at home? I may be interested.......can he get the axles and stuff....basically it all boils down to the availability of parts, and cost.
